About Me

How I got started in user interface design
I initially started college on a pharmacy path but completely restructured my plan when I discovered UX/UI. It mixed two goals of mine: helping people and pursuing design.
In my major's introductory course, I learned more about human-computer interaction and making digital tools more efficient for the general population.
These lessons also focused on the foundation of interaction design and critiquing current, popular applications commonly used by various groups of people. The goal of repairing a platform to promote greater efficient use through simplification and organization resonated with me, so I began to work with Figma and hone my Photoshop skills.
What I've been working on
My classes primarily focus on project-based final assignments, so my most developed prototypes come from these influences. I try to go above and beyond and feature the best-looking prototypes I can make on Figma. With every project, I learn a new function of that program.
Aside from that, I am an editorial staff member of a satire newspaper in my school, The Medium. I've taken up writer positions, creating Photoshop material for content in the paper, and also Editor-in-Chief positions. Satirical writing and brainstorming is one of my favorite passions and also led me to learn programs like Adobe InDesign.
Moving Forward
I want to work with researchers, designers, and developers to create a visually appealing and efficient website.
My goal is for users to confidently accomplish tasks on a given platform.
